TNT Twirlers Triumph at Nationals: A Journey of Talent, Team Spirit, and Unforgettable Moments

The TNT Twirlers have just returned from the sunny shores of Daytona Beach, Florida, where they competed in the United States Twirling Association National Championship. Twenty-seven of TNT's dedicated athletes traveled across the country, eager to face fierce competitors and showcase the countless hours they had invested in their training throughout the year. Their hard work has certainly paid off, bringing home numerous first-place wins and an impressive array of top-seven podium finishes.

By competing on over 100 sets at the National Championship, the TNT Twirlers demonstrated their relentless commitment to the sport. The results are a testament to their focus and determination, which resulted in both individual and team triumphs.

Stellar Individual Performances

Among the standout performances, a few individuals truly shone, etching their names into the championship history.

Sienna dazzled the audience with her incredible skills, securing 1st place in Beginner 2-Baton 17. Her routine combined precision and creativity that truly captivated everyone present.

In their first-time Nationals debuts, Marisa clinched 1st place in Novice Military 7-9, and Ivy won 1st place in Novice Basic 5-8. An exciting story of two best friends coming home with their National wins!

A highlight of the competition was Alina’s achievement in the Advanced National 3-Baton division. She placed 2nd, allowing her to advance to the National Semi-Finals in the Junior 3-Baton Division. This accomplishment speaks to her remarkable growth and hard work over the season, as she made her 3-Baton debut only at the beginning of this season.

In Their National No-Drop Era

This year, the TNT Twirlers have entered their NATIONALS NO-DROP ERA. The excitement surged as individuals performed flawlessly.

Yosra delivered a beautiful All Catch Solo, earning applause and cheers from the crowd.

Ashley demonstrated her versatility, showcasing 4 All Catches between Solo & 2 Baton. This remarkable feat exemplifies her dedication to perfecting her skills.

Madelyn impressed everyone with 2 All Catches between Solo & 2 Baton, highlighting her strength and resilience.

Delaney added to the excitement with another All Catch Solo, while Alayna achieved a stunning All Catch USTA Strut, demonstrating a balance of poise and grace.

These accomplishments unite the team, portraying the seamless blend of individual talent and togetherness that characterizes the TNT Twirlers.

Team Triumphs and Podium Finishes

Team events were equally thrilling for the TNT Twirlers.

In a fierce competition marked by camaraderie, the Novice Juvenile Large Dance Twirl Team—"TNT Survivor"—secured FIRST PLACE! This victory was a fantastic reward for their unwavering dedication and teamwork.

Additionally, the Novice Junior Large Dance Twirl Team, with their vibrant title "TNT Upside Down", also clinched First Place, showcasing the effectiveness of their preparation and collective effort.

In the highly competitive Junior AA Small Twirl Team category, TNT Pandora finished strong with 2nd Place. Additionally, TNT Hit The Road captured 2nd Place in the Junior A Small Twirl Team division, highlighting the resilience and spirit of both teams.

The thrill reached new heights as our two outstanding collegiate athletes took the stage in the National Collegiate Event.

Alanna Hopkins wowed the crowd while representing the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!), and Isabella Kuhlow captivated all as she performed in a tribute to Long Island University (Go Sharks!).
